Success Stories

AME

"After the great success we have had with APEX Office Print, we were delighted when we heard that United Codes were releasing APEX Media Extension as a replacement for Oracle Intermedia (due to its de-support in Oracle 19). It was a very straightforward code re-work for us and within a few hours we were successfully merging and resizing images using AME. We have been live on AME for several weeks, processing several thousand images a day and are seeing performance improvements over Oracle Intermedia. As we had experienced with AOP, the level of support we received has been fantastic! We cannot recommend AME enough."

Gemma WoodCavanti, Co-Founder

AOP

"Powerful combination of PL/SQL returning JSON and robust Word template allowed me to get rid of the previous costly SAP-based printing solution. My users are happier than ever. Wonderful AOP support - all my problems were solved with lightning speed!"

Leah BursteinProgrammer Analyst - Loyola Marymount University

AOP

"All of the documents that we create are generated with AOP. Using the Cloud option ensures that we're always using the latest version. Very happy that we can create a Layout using Word."

Alex NuijtenDirector - allAPEX

AOP

"Native document generation in Oracle APEX has always been a challenge. In the past, we relied heavily on third-party tools to develop document solutions. Jasper Server and Jasper Reports were used to generate the documents. Although these solutions have served us well, there were challenges in development, deployment, and performance. We started migrating to AOP since the first iteration on the Oracle Cloud platform. The ease of generating reports natively from the Oracle APEX application has ensured that we keep our turnaround time on project deliverables. Our clients can now simply design their required documents in a Word template, upload their document into the application where the dev team can map the fields and deploy within minutes. This flexibility ensures that we can offer our clients faster turnaround times."

AOP

"We want to keep focus on our business. So, we look for the service that provides most of our needs. AOP is the answer: easy to use and simple. Two years ago, we used paper-based evidence for audit purposes, but now we moved to digital documents. It also reduces our carbon footprints. Whenever we faced a problem, the AOP team responded to our problems quickly."

Edwin YuliantoMIS Manager for KOMPAK Programme - Abt Associates

AOP

"Excellent experience, easy to use out of the box using APEX on an Oracle database."

Mark Cassidy2CRisk Health Risk Software

AOP

"In our design of sanitary applications, we had to opt for a printing solution that is agile and adaptable to all the new requirements that could emerge. We analyzed all options, and after testing AOP, in a few minutes, we generated very powerful reports, and we are sure that any feature requests can be covered. AOP support is absolutely fantastic. The reports in our health application are a case of success."

AOP

"I discovered APEX Office Print, and it really is a fantastic service. I can easily create high-quality reports and forms to be printed directly from my APEX applications without the need for any knowledge of the XSL or XSLT. It is simple to use, reliable, and good value. Also - I get top-quality support from the team there. I will be continuing to use AOP on future projects and would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to offer customisable reports and forms/layouts from their APEX applications."

Consulting

"Tennis Vlaanderen has always put tremendous effort into automation. Twenty years ago, the first stone was laid with the current ELIT software (Electronic Member, Interclub and Tournament Administration). Over the years, this software has been expanded into a complete package with reservation, mail, and tennis school modules. In 2019, a thorough renewal was imminent because the programming language in which ELIT was written (Oracle Forms) would only be supported until 2020. Tennis Flanders chose to transition to a different technology, Oracle APEX, and a new vendor, United Codes, offering significant new opportunities and perspectives to make ELIT future-proof within a feasible timeframe. Meanwhile, the first modules, app management and court reservation, have been completely revamped and rolled out in ELIT 2.0. That this renewal is a hit is evident from the positive reviews in our extensive club survey: the ELIT 2.0 modules in APEX receive a satisfaction score of 7.2 and score remarkably higher than the modules that have not yet migrated to ELIT 2.0. Internally, the cooperation is also very positive, and United Codes has been able to meet the high expectations in terms of project planning and communication. We, therefore, continue the cooperation and migration of the subsequent modules with United Codes with great confidence and ambition."

"Before working with United Codes, I always felt that things were not progressing. Since then, the progress has been impressive. On top of that, they think along with me. They are not a supplier but a real partner. I am super satisfied. If only I had found United Codes many years ago…"

"Since we collaborated with United Codes, we have made a big leap forward in operational efficiency with SYUS. The tailor-made software they developed is fully in line with our business model, and the speed with which all this was implemented was surprising! Their helpdesk/support is a real example (fast and flexible), and their expertise testifies to a lot of experience and professionalism. In short, very satisfied!"

"I have been collaborating with APEX R&D since early 2014 across a variety of APEX-centric projects. Dimitri and the entire team feel very much like an integral part of our internal teams and continue to provide top-quality, specialized, professional, and super responsive consultancy to our business. We serve numerous APEX applications across our very demanding user group throughout the world (4000+ users globally and about to expand that to 28,000 users) and it is critical that we have reliable and specialized cover in this area. I cannot recommend them enough and look forward to many more years of fruitful collaboration."

AOP

"Since our conversion to Oracle Application Express, APEX Office Print (AOP) has been integral in delivering PDF content to our users. They fill a gap in APEX functionality in this regard, and their PL/SQL implementation makes it very easy to integrate it into our applications. Not once in the years, we've used the on-premises application have we had a failure. The best compliment we can give is that we forget we even use AOP because it has been bulletproof."

"The thing I like about AOP is that it is really flexible"

"AOP is a perfect example of a product designed to meet a real need in the APEX development community. AOP has made APEX a realistic solution for deployment across our business units and global user base.
